​ ​​​​​​​​​​    Hi and welcome to Out of the Blue Expressions. Owned and operated by Corey Mukes. I’m a visual artist based in Houston, Texas. My specialty is acrylic expressionist art which I have been creating for the past 11 years.  Out of the Blue was birthed from the gift God gave me and enhanced from my studies at The Glassell School of Art.

    My inspiration comes from my family, dreams, music and the occasional atmospheric moods that are set by the blowing of a trumpet or stroke of a piano key. While painting, I am constantly reminded that I was created by the creator to create and celebrate life. I am a firm believer that art is when you hear a knocking from your soul – and you answer.
